What are the eligibility requirements for Re-enrollment support?
To be eligible for re-enrollment support through Complete Penn State, a student must be:
- no more than five years out from their last semester of enrollment in a degree program at Penn State.
- currently seeking to re-enroll as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at Penn State
- one or two semesters away from completing a first associate’s or bachelor’s degree (30 or fewer credits remaining)
- in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher) before they stopped out from their degree program

experiencing or have previously experienced a hardship that is complicating degree completion
How does the Complete Penn State program support students who are interested in re-enrolling to finish their final degree requirements?
Complete Penn State supports returning students by developing an action plan for re-enrollment. We work to connect students with key department contacts, academic advisors, and essential University resources.
Does re-enrollment support automatically qualify students for the Complete Penn State "Open Doors" completion scholarship?
No. Students who re-enroll may apply for the Completion scholarship once they are fully enrolled, have met with their academic advisor to confirm outstanding degree requirements, and have a financial aid award package posted to their LionPATH account.
